02Nitrates, riociguat, and the 48-hour washout

05How 17.5 hours becomes the 36-hour weekend window
Mean terminal half-life in healthy adults is 17.5 hours. Oral clearance is about 2.5 L/h. Peak after a swallowed tablet sits near two hours. Food does not move Cmax or AUC in a clinically meaningful way, which is why the label says take it with or without meals. That is the PK reason dinner can come first.
